Karen M. Leser-Grenon

Karen M. Leser-Grenon joined SFMS in 2005. Karen is admitted to practice law in the States of California and Connecticut, as well as numerous federal courts, including the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut and the Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. She is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to these courts and jurisdictions, Karen has worked on cases with local counsel and co-counsel throughout the country and internationally. 
 
Karen's practice is concentrated on representing clients in securities, consumer and intellectual property cases. Karen also is also experienced in handling a variety of antitrust, employment and other complex commercial matters. Finally, Karen has substantial experience representing clients in employee benefit, health and life insurance cases and other matters. 
 
Karen earned her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park (B.S. 1997) and her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law (J.D. 2001). Before joining the Firm, Karen practiced law in Connecticut and California, where she concentrated her practice on securities, antitrust, consumer and intellectual property litigation. In 2005, Karen joined the Firm's office based in Chester, Connecticut and works principally on complex litigation cases. 
 
Karen is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, California Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association and Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Karen is a volunteer with Statewide Legal Services of Connecticut, Inc. She resides in Madison, Connecticut with her husband, Ryan, and daughter, Madeleine.
