Federal Stimulus Funds

SFMS Law is investigating claims of potential fraud in connection with federal stimulus funds.

Summary of Investigation: Welcome to the webpage maintained by Shepherd, Finkelman, Miller & Shah, LLP ("SFMS") for its investigation of fraud in connection with applications for, and spending of, portions of the $789 billion in federal stimulus funds recently approved by Congress and the President. Many people have reported that because of the sheer size of the program, oversight and enforcement are proving difficult, and some of the vendors are obtaining funds through misrepresentations, or are not using all of the funds as required. Under the United States False Claims Act, persons who file a claim reporting fraud against the government may obtain between 15% and 35% of the amount that the government recovers.
