This Privacy Policy Statement is applicable to www.sfmslaw.com and all other websites on the World Wide Web owned or operated by Shepherd Finkelman Miller & Shah, LLP (“SFMS”).
SFMS  does not collect personal information from you except in the following instances:

• Information your web browser software may automatically provide to our web servers, such as the address of the website you linked from, the identity of your Internet Service Provider and the type and version of the browser you are using;
• Information you provide to us in an e-mail message or attachment; and
• Information you provide to us in a form on our website.

Any information you submit to us will only be used for the specific purpose in which it was submitted.  You are under no obligation to provide SFMS with any personal information.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data.  These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.

We may share personal information that you provide to us in a form, e-mail message, or attachment with contractors or agents we employ in the course of our investigations or casework.

We restrict access to personal information to firm employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on our behalf.  These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations. We may also share the personal information if we have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation, or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
