Judge Approves Settlement In Apple Computer Case

On March 13, 2007, The Honorable Carl J. West, Judge of the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, entered an Order granting final approval of the settlement of the class action suit against Apple Computer, Inc.

The lawsuit alleged that the inverter board of the Apple 17-inch LCD Studio Display (“Display”) was faulty, causing gradient dimming of the top or bottom half of the screen of the Display and a power light to constantly blink on and off in a short-short-long pattern to signal a problem.

Under the terms of the settlement, class members received the opportunity to be reimbursed cash refunds up to $400.
