SFMS Attorney Rose F. Luzon Receives Pro Bono Award

Shepherd, Finkelman, Miller & Shah, LLP (“SFMS”) is pleased to announce that SFMS Attorney, Rose F. Luzon, has been chosen as the recipient of Casa Cornelia Law Center’s (“CCLC”) Pro Bono Publico Award for her outstanding contribution to the legal profession. She was chosen as a recipient of the award out of 119 attorneys from the private bar who collectively donated nearly 7,000 hours to CCLC’s volunteer program.

CCLC provides quality pro bono legal services to victims of human and civil rights violations and seeks to educate others regarding the impact of immigration law and policy on the community and the public good.

As a recipient of CCLC’s Pro Bono Publico Award, SFMS congratulates Ms. Luzon and all Pro Bono Publico Award recipients. SFMS also thanks CCLC for their tireless efforts and valuable contributions in providing high quality pro bono legal services to the San Diego community. Ms. Luzon will be recognized for her pro bono legal representation to a family escaping human rights violations in their home country.
